phpBB2 SPAM protection

I have developed this spam protection for my phpBB2 Forum to prevent spamming. Here you can try the spam protection (e.g. the keyword “air” can not be used). Everbody can use this enhancement (Verison 2.0.22). It is completly free. You must rewrite the file functions_post.php in the directory /includes in the phpBB2 tree (please safe or rename the orignial file before you copy the xmonitor enhancement to your webspace (e.g. rename it from functions_post.php to functions_post.tmp before you copy our file to your webspace)).

Every posting, which contains a word, which is saved under
“General Admin/Word Censors” in the Admin area will be deleted. (see guide)

1. Light Version:

Use this version if you are not able to read the IP of the users. You can check this, if you receive 0.0.0.0 when clicking on the IP link at a user posting (you must be logged in as admin to see the IP link):

2. Light Version pro:

In addition to “Light Version” the user can see, why his post was not accepted. The banned keyword which prevents the user to post, will be listed in the error message.

3. Heavy Verion:

If you can read the IP of the users, you can use this version. Every IP address of every user will be blocked, who uses consored word. You can unlock the user (User Admin / Ban Control : Un-ban one or more IP addresses).
